Split Bamboo Fence

This is the outer wall of the Japanese Garden in the Brooklyn Botanical Garden, built in 1915 by Takeo Shiota. The BBG is free on Saturday mornings before noon, and is a great way to start the weekend. I like to watch how the Japanese garden changes with the seasons.
